About Erica

Hello! I’m Erica and I am the maker behind Erica Halliman Creations. I have been creative my whole life but did not get into polymer clay until the summer of 2022.  We are relatively new transplants to the Pacific Northwest as my husband and I moved our family to Whidbey Island in 2020 and we immediately fell in love with the Island and the slower pace of life.

I love how versatile polymer clay can be! It really allows my creative side to flourish because there is so much you can do with it. My favorite is creating delicate florals. I use an ‘applique technique’. This method uses tiny pieces of clay and a sharp needle. Each small petal or leaf is hand formed and then placed one-by-one on the background with a needle. The process is slow but allows for small realistic details!

Thank you for all your support and coming along on this journey!
